1964 BUICK RIVIERA, BEAUTIFUL, RESTORED, RUST FREE ARIZONA CAR.
This beautiful 1964 Buick Riviera was restored over many, many years, starting with a rust free Arizona car.
The owner did not have the funds to get it done as fast as cars are usually done and he still wanted the premier Classic Buick restoration shop in the Southwest to do the car so they worked on it as he could afford to over a decade or so.
The Riviera then went into storage while the owner was busy with "life" and in the end I bought the car from him.
The last piece of this puzzle, the totally rebuilt 425 Nailhead is now installed and as soon as it is started up and broken in the Buick is going to the exhaust shop and after a few adjustments that you always have to do on cars that has been taken apart and put back together again it will be ready to sell.
It should be done in late May, early June the latest.
The 425 engine was completely rebuilt, bored out, the crank was turned, new pistons, rings, bearings, new cam with cam bearings, new timing gears and chain, new lifters, rebuilt rocker arms, redone cylinder heads and hardened valve seats were installed, new freeze plugs.
The carburetor was rebuilt, new water pump, new fuel pump, new alternator, rebuilt starter, recored radiator, new radiator hoses and thermostat etc, etc, etc.
At this point around $70.000 has been spent on the restoration, it is for sale for just over half of that cost.
The Buick is in Phoenix, Arizona
I have sold classic cars in the US and worldwide since 1986 so export is never a problem.
